The Challenge

A regional business chamber needed a publication that could capture how its member organisations were contributing to Indonesia’s sustainability agenda. The content spanned energy, environment, community initiatives, and private sector leadership, all intended for a formal launch setting.

The scale made the project demanding. Stories were being collected in parallel, the final page count reached 140 pages, and the publication had to work in both English and Bahasa Indonesia. With only three weeks to design and prepare the full document, the layout system had to be clear from the start.

The Solution

Brandly designed the full publication from layout concept to final export, working with supplied content and a tight approval schedule. The priority was to create a structure that could handle many contributors while still feeling cohesive from cover to final page.

Bilingual publication design needs more than duplicated layouts. We planned page rhythm, spacing, and hierarchy so both language versions felt balanced, readable, and equally considered. Member stories were given a consistent framework, while imagery and section pacing kept the publication from becoming too dense.

The complete publication was delivered within the three-week window, ready for print and launch use.

The Result

The publication launched at a formal business event in Jakarta and received press coverage tied to the chamber’s sustainability agenda. It gave the organisation a credible, public-facing record of member contributions across key sectors.

For Brandly, the project showed how careful long-form layout can bring clarity to a large, multi-contributor publication. The final piece gave members a tangible record of impact that could be shared beyond the event and used as part of the chamber’s wider sustainability communication.
